A Let's Play (200.6%) of "Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night", released by Konami in 1997 for PS1. Played through "ePSXe" emulator for the PC. This gameplay is on the "Luck Mode".
The game starts with a prologue, that is an event before the plot of the game itself. There, we see the final battle of Richter Belmont, an ancestor of the Belmont clan, known for being a vampire hunter, against Count Dracula, the Lord of Vampires that ressurects every century in Transylvania inside his cursed castle, Castlevania. This prologue comes from Rondo Of Blood (or Dracula X, the remake for SNES), the previous Castlevania game at that time. It ends with Richter defeating Dracula.
Then, 4 years later, Richter mysteriously dissapear. Maria Renard, Richter's sister-in-law, that helped him to defeat Dracula before, goes to search for him when mysteriously, Castlevania materializes out of the mist, like if it was showing to her the way. Meanwhile, Alucard, son of Count Dracula, that teamed up Trevor Belmont to defeat his own father 300 years ago, awakes of his eternal slumber and goes to Castevania as well to put an end to the castle.
On this video, we go inside the castle with Alucard, have our first encounter with Death, start exploring the Alchemy Laboratory and have our first tough battle with Slogra and Gaibon, the first bosses of the game.
